I finally finished this piece. Acrylic paint on canvas, took awhile because I didnt have a lot of free time during the past 3 weeks with freelance work and everything. Enjoy.

LUMPY!!!! PART DUECE!!!!!!!

SUP PEOPLES!!!!! Yeah It's been a looong time since I posted anything. That's due to my computers crashing, recovering data from a failed external hard drive, and having most of my time taking up from freelance work and catching up on sleep i needed. While i was waiting for the tech to be fixed, I was using my time wisely, creating new designs for other project and painting 2 skate boards. Here is LUMPY!!! the final piece!! I'm quite proud of this piece, felt good to paint again. Acrylics on skateboard took one whole weekend. Enjoy the progress pictures!!!

Hazel's Hips

Sup FINALLY!!!! My first posting for 2008!!! About time lol, Its been a long 3 months personal work wise. Since December till a week ago I was suffering from a serious artist block. I wasn't happy with any sketches or anything, and I was really motivated to fully work on anything or finish the sketches.
Sorry no new sketches or illustrations this time, but i have a few in the woodworks as we speak. This was the first animation I storyboarded. I was an Intern at Imajimation studios . Actually this was the last project I did before my internship ended and my graduation. I remember I was working my ass off on it till the very last day of it. I worked on this with my storyboard supervisor Kawbina Yankah. I forgot who did the initial background designs and character designs but those designs were pretty dope. I won best comedy short at dragon-con back in 2005 I think. Enjoy.

Custom Paint jobs

Woke up today with a killer stomach virus, and man its has been killin me all day. So since i know i wasnt gonna even try and go out or even try and ink characters,I decided to finally paint my money fist figure i got at new york comic-con. It was produced and designed by Danny Kimanyen http://kimanyen.blogspot.com/. I bought the all white one. Painted it with acrylics and all my strength to keep the brush steady lol, did my best, first time painting vinyl. had alot of fun it helped clear my head but not my illness lol. wat do you thinkAlready know i need more practice lol.


I think as soon as i get another studio gig, i'm gonna do a white and black Munny, that new munny car at kidrobot and like 3 skate decks.

PhotoManipulation!!!

Since this is my temporary website while i build my new website, i thought since i'm posting all my work i might as well post my bg's i did using photo manipulation. These BG's were done with photo for the Barbie Diaries animation which i can say was a challenge for me in the begining but i caught on after a week. It was a direct to DVD project and the backgrounds we created were more used as matte paintings rather than actual backgrounds, i also did some textures but those are boring so i wont post them lol. Basically you can already tell that these are composed of many other pics so i feel that all i have to say to describe the process is cut out elements from whole pics, altered the color, added shadows(multiply) and highlights(screen), saturation/desaturation, sized into perspective. simple. enjoy
