Sup heres the sketch for this weeks theme at art jumble i'm gonna try my best to get this done before sunday night. i already inked it and colored it with markers earlier this week before strep throat knocked on my door said hi and kicked me in the family jewels. unfortunatly i was cheap with the brand of marker paper and i have paid the piper for that stupid decision so i have to febreeze (Improve) the comp in photoshop. Should be fun. EEEEAAARRRHHHHH

imaginary crew

basically earlier this week, i joined art jumble's blog, they have different themes to draw every week. which definatly helps keep ya sharp. this week's theme is imaginary friends. Started with sparks as a warm up and then got carried away with the other 2. teal was fun to sketch alot of life in him lol reminds me of a more updated muppet lol, yes he's rocking a miami dolphins jersey and a miami heat jersey under the dolphins jersey. Then you got General tso, i have no clue on why i designed him like that, i guess hes a panda with wings and converses and apperantly likes to hang out in the arcades in china town. lol enjoy. yes i plan to color them just dont have time to. ;P

self explanitory, drew this at 5am tuesday night had alot fun doin this right before i passed out on the floor...lol didnt even make it into the damn bed. i think i'm gonna have a friend color this one.

Rough Character rotations

Sup back again with more personal work...their self explanatory blah blah blah.lol. Basically the dog rotation was just for practice and fun, took 4 hours cuz of the damn hair lol. i'm actually thinking of sculpting him out of super sculpty(forgive my spelling) since he is a simple shape could be fun but at the same time may look weird being 3d. well thats art..its either a hit or miss.

The other a rotation of DIck cheney. It was an initial design for a pilot i was doin with this guy Joe Lipari Very funny and truthful guy. out of respect for him and his project i cant and wont say anymore about it. Due to an opportunity i waited and wanted since i was 13 years old, i had to pull out of this one. i really want to come back to this and develope it more in the future, keep fingers crossed.

I plan to ink, color, and do a walk cycle in flash. since i need to polish my animation and drawing skills in flash. enjoy

Davy Jones crew character design challenge

Sup wow first pic posted on my blog. Now that the intro is done blah blah, lets get to the main interest..the pics. Basically i was watching pirates of the carribean dead man's chest and looking at new character concepts of davy jones' crew for the 3rd movie. I was inspired by all the designs and i decided to challenge myself and create a character for davy jones' crew. I'm still thinking on how i'm gonna color it, either the usual cell style or painterly, i'm still thinking about wat color to use as well.

so here it is, i would see myself a manta ray, huge back that fuses into head, giving him a small neck. Mostly like this guy would be responcible for pulling the anchor up and help releasing the kraken.

:Backstory: Mr. Brown(Manta)Son of an Irish sailor in the Royal Navy and the mother of a Jamaican barmaid, raised with strict discipline he grew up with a huge chip on his shoulder and devoid of any emotion. Being raised as a perfectionist he was the perfect sailor until he met his wife and settled down and had a child in nassau. He found what was missing in his life, perfectly happy until he found her cheating with his captain. He bottled his rage until one night at see during a hurricane he decided to confront his captain, during the scuffle he was tossed overboard and was picked up by davy jones and chose to serve him. So now the stone heart behemoth sails the seas hope one day to run into his former ship and take his revenge. His price for choosing servitude...never seeing his son.
