sketch of the day wolverine movie of BLOB

origins wolverine movie version of the blob. People can what they want about the movie, I honestly enjoyed it for the main fact that I knew before hand that its not gonna be like the comic at all, very loosely based on the book, also you gotta give it to who ever the casting director was they picked the right guys for victor and wade. Plus walking out of x-men 3 and being a bit disappointed leaves you with low expectations for the wolverine movie lol. I do have to admit though the deadpool design was mad dope, i just didnt like his mouth being fused shut, well I guess it made production easier, didn't have to teach ryan renolds martial arts or sync his voice over his stunt devil's lips. Whatever lol.

beware the fuzzy one

March i here, just finished going through a few weeks of snow, I dont know about everyone else but I enjoyed it. Here goes a new illustration for the month. "Beware the fuzzy one" Pist Pug 2. I sketched the thumbnail in sketchbook pro, then blew it up and cleaned it up in pencil and paper, then inked and colored in illustrator...enjoy.

I did the rough sketch back in the summer and wanted to finish it, since i had the time to i inked the lines in illustrator and colored it in photoshop, took an hour. enjoy.

Second Illustration of the year. I sketched this a 2 years back but never had the time to ink it in illustrator, since I had a week long break this week from freelance. First Post and illustration in 2010. B-Boy Stance!!!

To ring in the new year I made several new year resolutions that I know will be achieved. #1 healthier living, less meat, more vegetables, more water, run and go back to the gym. #2 be better off than I was in 2009. #3 create 1 fully rendered illustration and every day fill at least 3 pages in my sketch book. Here goes the first illustration. I also plan to print this on canvas personally for me, but will be available as a print at this years conventions. Inked in illustrator and colored in Photoshop, enjoy and happy new year!

Magik! colored

Here goes the final render of Magik, a character from the x-men comic series. Picked up an issue of new x-men, saw her, and 100% dug the character design. I had alot of fun drawing and coloring this. Gotta love photoshop! Enjoy!

Big Apple Comic-Con

Sup people, This weekend was amazing, met some great artists, great energy, got some great reactions from people checking out my work and my book. Contra!

UP UP DOWN DOWN LEFT RIGHT LEFT RIGHT A B A B START! The infamous konami code. Contra one of the best games ever man, I lost plenty of quarters to this game until the nintendo game came out then there went my social life lol. I felt like doing a fan pic and it just popped in my head to do Contra, you don't see that many fan pics of contra. The characters were done in Illustrator and the bg and effects were done in illustrator. I had alot of fun working on this. enjoy!

US Airforce

This was an interesting job, did this job for the airforce at world leaders, My buddy Garret did the storyboards and some dope artists and sick motion graphics animators did a great job bringin this to life. It was done in photoshop, some photomanipulation. I liked this project because we got to play more with negative space and it came out beautifully. Enjoy these bg's I made, sorry the technique is my secret. :)

Eat PLay Burn

Bday banner

A banner i made for my pop's bday. Illustrator, it ended up being printed on 3 feet by 5 feet heavy stock paper, sucks i couldn't afford it to be on vinyl. Still came out great though. enjoy

Bushidobob

Hola peoples, I know its been awhile since i post anything new, been busy working on other important projects. During the past month and a half, I've been working on a painting on my spare time. Here it is bushido bob, acrylic on canadian maple skateboard and frisket paper, man i love that stuff. I also included the digital proof. Lesson learned...use soft body acrylics, the heavy body stuff is alot harder to push around and keep smooth.

Been awhile

Sup everyone, I know its been a looooooooooong time since I've posted. Just been busy with work and life. Moved to a new apt, freelance work, personal projects, killer clowns etc etc. I was backing up my work on my external hard drive, found this piece. It was for a test i think enjoy.

BLOKHEDZ!!!!

BOOM!!!

Sup its been awhile, Here goes a new piece. Alittle different than what I usually do but I love this comp and style. I had to create a poster for a characters room for this production, can't use recognizable faces, logos, or products. A bit of a challenge but I had fun with this. Enjoy.

Class Final

Well its a few days before X-mas, tonight is the night I turn in my class assignment. Here it is. A pitch for a new ad campaign for Jolly Humor ice cream company. Photoshop, the character was done in Illustrator, the rest were curve adjustment layers and gradients. I had alot of fun working on this. Enjoy.

Here ya go, its been awhile since I've posted anything new. Here goes a photo-manipulation project I had to do for my online classes. Yeah back in school to learn web design. I find it funny that my typography credits transfered but not my photoshop class credits. Weird, but it gave me some great opportunities to practice photo-manipulation. Had fun with this one. enjoy.
